I'd be more tempted if it were an 'H' version. Most Heinkel 111s during BoB were 'H's weren't they?

I've no idea what the differences are though... Might be simple to convert.

    Cheers

Just read the difference is in the engines... Jumos in the H version.

Also 'P's were used, so maybe!

I think it was the P, Stona will put us on the right track.

Big bugger, the He 111 not Stona, lol. 70cm wingspan..... Looks a good kit from the reviews on T'interweb.

Do I want one... Nha, Wrong colour for me.

I'll be buying one, heaven knows when I'll build it. I'd have to do a bit of looking up for the He111 as bombers aren't my primary interest and the old bonce struggles to remember everything it should! I do have a couple of books on it.......somewhere.

              Cheers

Steve, you are such a font of knowledge on WWII German aircraft it wouldn't surprise me to hear you tell us what a particular pilot had for breakfast before his last sortie!!

Seriously though I'd love to see a build thread of this one, a 1/32nd 111 will certainly be an impressive kit.

From what I can gather (from reading wikipedia!), in Sept '39 the Luftwaffe had some 720 or so operational He 111s of which 400 were 'H's with the 'P' being gradually replaced by the H (the most numerous variant). And yes, apparently 'H' did come after the 'P'! (bit like the Panther D, A, G conundrum!?)

I suppose the real question is are there any BoB decals with the kit?

                    1/32 V1 - I'm sure I've seen one... then again I could have dreamt it. Hold on, Bronco do a 1/35 V1-

Bronco Models 1/35 V-1 Fi 103 Flying Bomb.

                    Close enough?

A very good point as I'd want it to be contemporary with my Ju88. Someone will do an in box review in the very near future.

                        Cheers

Could be worse, imagine smuggling the zwilling version into the house!
