        I substituted chewing gum every time I wanted a fag I had a stick (I think I kept Wrigley in business on my own) the trouble with that was I had to kick that habit next.

                hi,Ralph .so sorry late on this one,
                well very good for you trying,see lots have and are helping you which is cool to see,
                Im a smoker as well,and have from about the age off 12yrs,won,t say how old lol,
                I have tried with some luck,as im also a asthmatic ,plus all the paint and what not over
                the years,well what can I,say,not all is bad from the cigs but yes some is,the more people
                are at me the harder it is from family to doctors and so on,and there will always be them times
                that theses little silver buttels will be needed,well in my case i find,beaning a Scottish lass, have
                a temper a mile wide lol,and some times well just have to have one,
                cut down as much as you can,from there try to reduce more,do it in your time,and not rush
                wish you all the best may the butts be out for you lol,

                  Hi ralph , 1 week done . I bet this time last week it seemed impossible but inner stength is stronger than you think . Youre firmly on the first stepping stone , the next is within reach , youre doing brilliantly and i hope youre starting to see small changes in yourself , like tasting things again and not getting headache ! Keep at it mate , ill be waiting for you on the next stepping stone , cheers tony

                    Good on yer Ralph! You've probably done the hardest bit. If your willpower has got you this far, I see no reason why it shouldn't be strong enough to see you through any odd cravings you may get from time to time.

                        It certainly did and I am now on day six and I have no interest in smoking.Things do taste different but I have had no headaches.
