            She Who Must Be Obeyed. It was a phrase adapted by John Mortimore for his character Horace Rumpole (immortalised in the TV series Rumpole of the Bailey) when referring to his wife. It originally came from Rider Haggard's novel She.

                        A great series Peter on TV. Leo McKern. Just those eyes great actor. All the great actors can use their facial expressions
                        to tell a tale with out a word spoken. Leo did just that with hardly a twitch.

                        The young Morse, Endeavor, played by Shaun Evans is of the same mould.
