I made a doll's house when I was about 10 or 11 - it was a modern Bauhaus style, for drawings in one of my mother's woman's magazines. I finished all the woodwork and wired the lights, then gave it (unpainted) to a young female relative. No idea what happened to it after that.

She Who Must Be Obeyed. It was a phrase adapted by John Mortimore for his character Horace Rumpole (immortalised in the TV series Rumpole of the Bailey) when referring to his wife. It originally came from Rider Haggard's novel She.Comment
