Will do, I've got an archamedis drill for that, this will be just for holding stuff.

Just tried a 0.5 drill, seems to hold nice and snug , it has reverseable collets so you can go from 0 up to 2.9 mm and is all metal,so far seems like a good buy :thumb2:

          Mark, Bob

I've had a couple of these for several years and they generally work very well. Nothing flashy, just do what they do.

There are a couple of minor things you need to be aware of.

One is that if you're drilling into something herd you can still push the drill bit in if it's not properly tightened and occasionally even if it is

The other is that you will a few drill sizes are slightly too small for one size of vice but slightly too big for the next size down, so you have to wiggle it a bit to get them in.

          HTH.

Hi Andy et al….The collets in the pin vice are designed for a certain range of drill sizes. If you want to cover all bases you will need several, or a pin vice with interchangeable collets.

Exactly what I thinking..... Not that I knew the proper name, nor could I seem to find the words for what I was trying to say, so thanks for the proper lingo!

I suspect very few American kits of that era made their way over to this side of the world, and those that did probably got built soon after they did
