Andy,
I had a go at this - I made the mistake of trying to replace the barrels with a Voyager detail set. I had to give up, 'cos I couldn't get all the barrels parallel & pointing in the right direction. Really frustrating!

Some reference material and a subscription to MAFVA this week, along with an optivisor. I did buy another Panzer too, but it's the same kit as my last post, (Tamiya Pzkfw IV Ausf D) so didn't photograph:

Used my Panzer Colors so much they fell apart, so now reside in a three ring binder.

I was lucky enough to get all three for a tenner. I've also got them as pdf's so these can stay in nice nick. I hope to be using them quite a lot too

€20 delivered and now I have all 5 of the supply wagons I need. Another evilbay deal was mostly a dumb bid on a kit because I liked the box art and really didn't think I would win it. Be damned, I did win it for €40 delivered to the door. I still can't believe it,

The box weighs about a kilo and stuffed to the brim with parts.........Now as I like to scratch stuff (not fleas), these were needed for various jobs coming up,

9 Packs of lead wire from 0.02mm up to 1.0mm. The fig w/dog was a freebie and is 3D printed. To get it and free postage, I added this into my shopping cart,

Don't really need the 5cm gun itself. I need the 2 single wheeled transport trolley's it's sitting on. Prolly throw the 5cm on a truck or something later. Took today off as it was slow at work, jumped on the bicycle and pedaled my butt to Lidl for a couple of sale items,

A big box of alligator clips and the drawer unit for resin figs (right side row) and little stuff. Real cheap!!! Got both for €10,98............

There's no hope for me, and matron can't help either.....I'm a goner............

Dale, Panzer Colors was the first set of reference material I purchased when I got serious about WW2 modeling. And like Paul I used the poor things to death......some have a few loose pages but they are still an excellent quick reference for all aspects of German Vehicle modeling. Well worth a Tenner! :thumb2:

I hope all is well with you in the land down under. The figure is 1/35 from MAIM (Modern Armies In Miniature) and was a free gift with my order. The poor dog's leg was broken when I got the package, but no big deal. Here's a close up,

MAIM makes this figure in different scales and they are all 3D printed. You might want to look at BNA Hobbies in your neck of the woods. Please take care and I guess winter is coming too, huh!!!

                      Allen

PS, postage from Germany would be 3-4 times more than the cost of the figure.......................

Thanks for the advanced warning, this will be pretty much OOTB,and i`m pleased to see that the barrels are one piece,so at least there`s none of that seam removal nonsense required:thumb2:,as for the alignment ......... i`ll just have to wait and see:flushed:,
