These are parts someone 3D-printed for me, to make the lower halves of the flail chains for my Sherman Crab that’s (also) been languishing for quite some time due to me not having a good way to make those intricate chains. Now I don’t have that excuse anymore … (For an idea of the size of these: the square tiles around the cardboard are 5 cm.)

Something a very good friend painted for me when I moved into my new house. It’s taken about 18 months for me to get it framed because I was worried about the framers going under during Covid lockdowns….

Hey Tim, I'm not an expert, but he reminds me of Edgar or Johnny Winter, also a bit like Willie Nelson, but not....

You all have some great new buys going on and as for me......Too much work and no play time, but I managed to snag this at a good price,

Off topic Tim, but his brother Edgar wasn't too shabby either. Maybe a bit more rock.........................

Edgar was on the jazz end of the rock spectrum really, especially with White trash…..my interests are closer to the blues end, hence JDW 3.. Hard again, with Muddy, is absolutely fantastic…one of my all time favourites….

At least I can glue much of this together as not-working, but I’m not exactly looking forward to it. Did I mention I also need to cut a ton of hinge pins, because the chap who made these put holes through all the parts for them?

It’s probably too far gone already after having even thought this may be the way forward

I console myself with the thought that at least they’re not Model Kasten tracks

Frankenstein is still one of my faves. Seem to recall him playing a "keytar" (Moog controller?) live.

I think he invented the keyboard strap for it…..mind you, accordion players might disagree….

I'm getting the thread back to the topic, Tim.
My good lady bought me this, guess it keeps me quiet and not "under the feet".
First impressions looking inside the box are favourable, despite it being an re-issue of an old kit. Really like the inclusion of a tool to make the shrouds/ratlines and I plan to first use it on the current Revell HMS Bounty build.

From China, in less than 4 weeks. I'm a bit wary of Aliexpress, but this was fine - at less than £16 delivered! :thumb2:

It'll be in the queue! I now have quite a large stash of 1/700 warships waiting!

This may be the last 1/700 purchase for a while - unless I spot a real bargain!
