Chris, if Jen is worried about mobile use and radiation, ask her to read these..
The weight of scientific evidence has not linked exposure to radio frequency energy from cell phone use with any health problems.
A fact sheet that outlines the available evidence regarding use of cellular/mobile telephones and cancer risk.
From these, which are well written articles on reliable and well regarded websites, she can draw her own conclusions.
The bottom line is that the radiation emitted by a mobile phone is very weak, and more importantly, is what is called “non ionising”. This means it cannot adversely impact on cellular DNA, so is extremely unlikely to cause abnormalities that grow into cancers. She will get a higher dose of ionising radiation from walking in the sun or sitting in front of a TV.
COSMOS: Studying the health impacts of mobile phone use
These preliminary findings are part of the Cohort Study of Mobile Phone Use and Health (COSMOS), launched in 2010 and led by Professor Elliott and Professor Mireille Toledano. The study is following the health of over 100,000 adult mobile phone users in the UK and a further 200,000 users in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands and France, for 20-30 years to address the knowledge gap in the possible long-term health effects of mobile phone use.
Participants complete an on-line questionnaire about their mobile phone use, health and lifestyle. The researchers are then analysing and monitoring this data to see if participants develop any health problems as a result of their mobile phone use such as cancer and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's.
Not had any questions recently , think the last time was before Covid .
Still good to be part of some thing as important.Comment

Hi Chris, sorry to hear you are having trouble. It sounds like it’s a reminder that you have set yourself (on certain models reminders and alarms will work despite the phone being turned off), especially seeing as it is something as specific as ‘Warship Day.’ I also don’t think it’s anything to do with the ‘Vodaphone Computer,’ with the sort of phone you are describing, it doesn’t sound likely that it‘s an external source, although I’m a little confused, sometimes you say it’s messages, other times it’s ringing?
The best thing if you don’t want to take it into a phone shop, is to remove the battery over night, It won’t wear out the connections out. If you can’t hear it, and Jen won’t use it, you may as well leave it in another room of the house as well. Have a look in the reminders/alarms menu, and you may well find something you can turn off. Hope that helps.Comment

Chris Sunday or Monday morning at 2am take a picture with a camera of your mobile of the message that comes up "workship day" on your phone then post the picture here, the forum that's if its OK with the forum rules. I think it's either to do with alarm clock settings or calender settings ⏰ just a thought. Luv sue xxComment
