Had a small rebate from the taxman so used it to buy some kits I’ve wanted especially the Hanuebu II the Revell one was a mistake as the Squadron model is vastly superior but it took me 2 years to track one down in finally located one online in France the person who sold it was superb it was ordered on the Sunday night and was delivered by Thursday morning
The victory I used to own but that was the original release must be 30 years ago needless to say that went bye bye’s years ago as it wasn’t mounted in a case of any sort so the dust destroyed it that won’t happen this time
The others well the 225 was a must seeing what has happened to it the Mosquito is an iconic WW II plane and the Tamiya version is supposed to be one of the best so that was added I’m also waiting delivery on the Border Models 1/32 Lancaster which took half the rebate otherwise I would have to dig into my bank account for that one there is no way I was not going to order that having a previous 1/32 from Hachette made from wood and metal which was an absolute disaster the wooden supports couldn’t cope with the metal engines and repeatedly snapped so I gave up with that years ago been waiting for a replacement ever since didn’t hear good things about the HK version so waited until the Wingnut Wings was announced at Telford then started following developments until you could actually order one then we had Covid which put the tin hat on it until just recently where I hope to take delivery sometime in July this year ?
Anyway enough waffling
Regards
Colin
