I’ve never yet damaged a needle, but I always pull the needle out before dismantling the air brush for cleaning. It’s far less vulnerable when it’s out of the way…..bet I damage it soon after saying this though…..Comment

Many thanks to Paul aka Prichard1 for sending me a disc with some top information on Italian vehicles, soldiers and equipment and a whole lot of very useful reference material.
Also treated myself to this a very useful foam cutter at a very good price.Attached FilesComment

Made a quick raid on Amazon's we-can't-be-arsed-storing-it-gizza-quid section.
As many of you know I have no 'workstation" or mancave as such, but simply use a battered coffee table in the sitting room while The Enemy watches Masked Strictly Ice Celebrities Bake Pottery Island. This leaves me a bit disorganised and relying on a toolbox and regular stretching for tools and brushes.
Found this for £1.50 on Amazon, 3mm MDF, bit of a formaldehyde whiff, but to my surprise, unwarped or damaged. Went together quite nicely (given no real instructions), although I am the Flatpack King. This will perch nicely on the table and I'll have things to hand.

Also found this for a penny buried in their chuckaway books bin. Don't know if it's a recommended read or not.

A friend of a friend apparently picked up a 24" telly on there for a fiver on Boxing Day. However, the friend in question is known as the source of most apocryphal tales, so I expect it was more like £50 or so. However, since the Beeb's exposé on their refuse policy, I think there is more ex-stock to be found now than there was.Comment
