Julie had looked at my ebay watched list and found this , so as a thank you for my support during this horrible time with her dads passing bought it without me noticing it, arranging postage to me with the seller, crafty monkey!!

Bit annoyed as i love her to bits and am helping as much as i can but not doing it for a gift!.

Told her off but she insists i have it. One lucky chap i can tell you
Bob . You may well be a lucky chap but could you in future hold you camera the other way up, I now have a sore neck .

So I'm blaming Jim directly for one of the below and indirectly for the other one too!!! :smiling5:

As advertised, Lidl are selling the below ultrasonic cleaner for £20. The basket does look quite small but I think I might be able to make it work, if not I'll just take it back.

Whilst buying the ultrasonic cleaner I happened to notice oil paints they had on sale; maybe not the best quality and only time will tell but at £5 for 24 18ml tubes it was worth a punt. As you may recall I'm just starting to dabble with oils and so I figured this set would be perfect. The colour selection appears to be surprisingly good and is actually better than appears to be the case on the back of the box!!

So thanks to Jim for his advance warning about the cleaner!!!:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

      ATB.

So technically these were 2021 arrivals.

Nothing special and took a punt on the drill and clamp set from Lidl after someone on here picked one up - and very nice it is too for only £8.

Bought second-hand, but complete and with everything still in the plastic bags. (As usual with Dragon, the title on the box is misleading: there is just one model in it, but you get the parts to build it in three different versions.)

Seems to be Spitfire season lately . The ICM beer delivery was a birthday pressie and the f mk22/24 was an ebay bargain - £11.50 inc postage . The kit doesnt include the 1/72 mk1 or the paints and brushes etc but the 1/48 fmk22/24 is complete and unstarted and more importantly usually sells for £25 +:thumb2:Click image for larger version

I picked this up at the weekend, huge big box caused issues getting by the wife, but the coffee and cake later on helped with that.

Yes, I too find that a nice coffee and a slice of cake helps me to ignore being shouted at.

I was just rearranging the utility room cupboard where I store my stash, shelf queens, tools and paints..... I had it nearly finished when my wife walked in took one look at it and said that's ridiculous............I was actually quite pleased with how it looks because finally everything is in, in a way that I don't have to pull half of it out every time I want certain boxes.... ..... Don't think coffee and cake will help....
