I watched a guy painstakingly airbrushing squiggles over primer coat, basically pre shading where there’s not a lot of panel lines to follow. When he then put on the top coat it gave a variation in shade across the area. In my head that makes some sense?Comment

So after waiting for over 2 years my back order from Artitec came in along with one of four Brekina trailers (three still on back order) and the end of the city block building that I posted on here on July 22nd.....so the little town will be complete when I get all the buildings constructed. Incidentally, the Hansa Lloyd 3 ton trucks were used extensively by the Wehrmacht and other branches as well to backfill their lack of transport. There is much photographic evidence to bear this out and I'm looking forward to bashing a few of these together.Comment

Hi Paul, actually they were pretty reasonable @ $17.95 ea..........they are however the dreaded resin. In defense of that, they are some of the cleanest and flash free with no casting blocks that I have ever seen..........so that is at least, something to look forward to.Comment

That one threw me a little … Stadthaus to a Dutch-speaker reads as stadhuis, meaning “town hall” — which this really doesn’t appear to beOf course, I then recalled that in German, a town hall is called Rathaus, literally “council house” but that has a very different meaning in British English again. Then I noticed that the box calls it stadshuis in Dutch, which changes the meaning completely to, basically, “house that’s in a city”. Aha, now it makes sense

After going through the budget for the modelling room and garage door, I was delighted to find that's its cheaper than I thought, so with Julie resting I was looking around and found this, cheapest by a long way AND with interest free payments!
1/200 beast, so also ordered the Eduards BigEd PE set as well, bugger it I thought, even Rolf the moggie was impressed. Note he's guarding the food!
So do I use Mr Color lacquer or enamels? What ever will need a roller and a bucket of itAttached FilesComment
