ta Dave for the well wishers willl do that once a bit better ,so sorry to hear you have a problem as wellMonica,
sorry to hear of your problem - all I can say is don't rush things - When you feel like painting, limit yourself to a half hour or so, then stop. I've had a problem with my right hand ( OA ), and I've found that limiting my benchtime to an hour a day, and none if I have any twinges, reduces the onset & speeds up the recovery. It's frustrating & it limits your modelmaking, but a little time is better than none at all!
 All the best
 Dave

ta Richard that is on the cards and a good idea as said a couple of times can do as things are open again after twos of madnessHi Monica, sorry to read about your problem. I'd seek a second opinion if I were you...that doctor sounds impatient and has no empathy. Only get back to modelling if it helps in little steps. We're not going anywhere and will still be here. Get well and stay safe.

 Richard.

Hello Monica, I've never conversed with you but I have seen some of your posts when I first joined here whilst navigating site!
I can relate to your hands, my left is of a similar issue.. back in the 90's I was stabbed through the hand severely cutting a tendon and nerves.

As I grew older the hand lost its ability to stay still and has carried on shaking since.
I found my Doctor a lot more understanding than I thought and she sent me for physio...that helped.

I've plenty of exercises that you do prior to modelling and this 'calms' the hand a bit.

Is not all doom and gloom and you'll soon get back into the swing of things!!

 Hi Monica

a bit late coming to your post. Sorry to read about your problems, as others have said - perhaps a change of doctor?
