Very carefully run the tip of a hot iron over the damp cotton - this creates a little steam & will reduce the fold. Do this very gently, and in very short strokes, don't let the cotton move, as this may smear the finish on the veneer. I did this to recover an unusable part, so I didn't have anything to lose ( it was a 1/700 Bismarck deck ). It may take a few attempts & you may lose the glue on the back of the veneer, and need to attend to this. Good Luck!!

According to several Soviet sources these tanks (the M10) arrived in normal US colours and were left as such.

Arrived yesterday from my good friend Wibble were some RATS.

Very small as can be expected and resin of course, so care on removing those tails from the block.
      Thanks Mike.

ID:	1203515 When this was introduced in 2017, I was interested, but at £30+ ............ no thanks. I got this for £12.16 delivered. I have to say, it's unusual - I will be doing an inbox review, as it is certainly not in the normal run of 1/700 ship models!!!

This has to be the fugliest plane ever built, with all that rigging and no MG's in sight. But that's not why I bought it,

Here's pic of the inside box cover and 2 other goodies I bought with it. The wheels are fine as wine and will be used for scratching a beaching dolly for a float plane...A close-up of the 3D printed wheels,

I was afraid to take one out of the bag as they look fragile and the best part is no cleanup required. The staple keeps them separated in the baggie. Now, why did I buy the wing thingy???........Honestly, it reminded me of a dog with worms, dragging his butt on the sidewalk!!!....And no, I'm not kidding..........

Allen, that's the most original explanation regarding the reason why a modeller buys a kit! And I have to agree with you.:tears-of-joy:
Moreover, the observer in the backseat, as depicted on the box art, looks like is dragging his less noble parts on his seat or, maybe, he needs a proctologist...:rolling: :tongue-out3:
Seriously, those spoked wheels are really wonderful. :thumb2:

Been watching on YouTube a site called modelshed. Steves a superb modelor and over 50 episodes built the 1/200 trumpeter Hood. Have learnt a lot just watching, including areas where I have been making mistakes! So what the hell followed him by splashing out on the huge Pontosmodel PE upgrade set. This corrects the numerous faults with the kit.

Contains 2O sheets of PE, brass parts Inc barells, resin replacements, wooden and metal decks!Click image for larger version

It cost more than the kit, got it from HK and even with customs getting me it was over £100 cheaper.

As they say, cannot take it with you! Opening the box gave me nightmares lol.

Yesterday i attended the West Norfolk Ipms show in Littleport near Ely.A great variety of models and got to have a great chat with Paul Scottie Aka Scottie.Only 1 purchase for me this Bronco A13 mark 1v.Do like these early ones used in desert.Sadly i didnt realise this one only has options for Bef and Cyprus which i only found out when i studied the kit last night.Only took a couple of photos as i caught up with so many i havent seen since 2016.
