It was a lot quieter than last time John. I overheard a couple of traders complaining and saying they won't bother coming again. Didn't meet anyone I know, although I thought I saw Andrew but he denied being him, and I saw someone I thought was Pete Low but I was upstairs and he was down - couldn't find him later.

Not usually an EBay buyer, but fancied a couple of jets…..got these for about the retail price of the Mig on its own……delivery in two days as well. Pretty impressed.

On another forum, someone mentioned that Richard Hunnicutt’s standard work on the M4 Sherman and other American medium tanks was being sold on Marktplaats, a Dutch eBay-like site (and actually acquired by eBay long ago). Though I already owned the 2015 reprint, I wanted an original edition because the reprint’s print quality is notably lower than of the other original books I have in this series. So for €45 including postage, I got it in the mail today

There’s even the original receipt in it from 1996, when it was purchased from Chris Evans Books in Birmingham, UK, for £65 plus £10 p&p

That was a hell of a lot for a book then Jakko, and the postage was extortionate…..

I've been looking at the bits, and puzzling about which way to display it!
