Very nice Al'
I live near Chester. There was a terrific display in our area last night.
This morning, our nearest neighbour sent my missus some superb and clear photos of the feenomeenum.
Unfortunately, my wife and I were both fast asleep and missed the whole show! -
It's G3 level tonight. Last night was the most powerful, G5. So you should be able to see them. But you'll get better colours from a camera.
You can download the Aurora watch app and it tells you when the best times are to see them.Comment

We deployed to Northern Flank annually in one unit I was in - we also had some fantastic displays (and not only in Troms!). I've also been fortunate to see similar in Australia (Borealis Australis - can't remember the correct scientific name!? :sad-face: ). Nature is magnificent and very humbling.
