Hopefully that will assist in your recovery Barry.
        All the best.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Well I have just had my first hot meal here. Just a generic chicken curry, nothing special, but even looking at it you could tell it was well cooked and tasty. I would have been happy with that as a private patient. I am actually impressed and much relieved not to have that inedible mess they served at Kings College.

                  Just a thought.

I had 10 days in a famous specialist hospital providing globally acclaimed spinal care, one of our elite hospitals. Now in my local hospital, with nothing special about it, but they really have ‘got it together’ regarding the smaller things that really count for patient care. Food was just mentioned but I also felt that they were more proactive in helping me get comfortable for the day and all that goes with that. I am not complaining about the former, Kings were amazing, but I know where I prefer to be and not just because it is closer to home.

Glad the food is better. Maybe it's simply a case of "small is better". Perhaps a slightly different set of priorities and a more personal approach.
