Well I managed to get hold of Dave and he asked me to pass a message on to you all.

Things are taking longer than I hoped.Op went ok, but recovery is much slower - I naively thought that the op wouldn't have that much effect, but I was away wrong! I hope to be back home shortly. Can't log on the site.my elderly Android phone won't have it

So it looks like Dave will be with us all again soon.

I'm finally back home - feeling vey tired, but at least I should be able to get a night's sleep without being poled or prodded - it's gpimg t0 be a slow proess, getting back to something like normal..........................
