It always amazes me when i look at this thread on just how little space you guys manage to work on. I need three times that space if im making a sandwich lol.

Well SWMBO has Orderedme to clean up my model room, so she has ordered me to clear it out, Get rid of bed (single divan with slidy doors going FREE hardley used as my little man's not allowed to visit me any more,You gotta collect it tho)

So thought i'd post a before and after picture to see what i can botch together, Plenty of room for spray booth and photo area.

Main work area in front of window for real light and my light magnifyer, paint booth on the left vented to outide and nice clean and tidy photo area.

Well i can see it in my head but the Meds might put an end to that.

oh forgot to mention gotta paint the room first ,Imagin Mr bean tin of paint and explosives.

My workstation is in the garage. We moved in 7 months ago and it's still full of stuff including a flat packed new kitchen.Cant get to my bench and models yet and haven't built anything since we moved in.Am hoping to start building again before christmas. My wife's going to have a large wish list of kits after all the work I've done on the house!.

You don't want to have that bottle of Klear in the window Steve. You might as well have the crown jewels on display.

I've now finished the kitchen and got the 3metres of old work top with cupboards and draws set up in the garage.Ive also got about two and a half metres of new work top left over.So one side of the garage is going to have a very long bench!.Im doing the living room next so will be able to get the bloody three piece suite out of the garage!.Then I will have some room to work in.been collecting off cuts of wood from my DIY projects which will come in handy as I intend having a wood burner in the garage for the winter.Just have to make sure I do paint spraying well away from it!.

I'm fed up waiting for when I get my garage converted into a modelling den.So I've cleared a table in my workshop at the bottom of the garden.Ive got a 1/48 P47 which I almost finished just before we moved house in Feb.So that's first on the list to do.

Wow, Its really quite interesting the variations of modellers workstations with the available space; I'm trawling this discussion thread to see how I can put together my mancave. I have one undeveloped room within the basement, which is the furnace room where I'll more than likely throw in an L shaped desk and storage cupboard. I'll also need to vent it to the outside when I get the spray booth up and running too. Watch this space!
