I did my bit to keep Modelzone with us by buying the Airfix Sea King HAR3 from their Basingstoke branch today. 20% off all plastic kits and discounts across most products of up to 30%. Go and do your bit; you'll miss them when they're gone. Always great service at the Amazingstoke shop.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

I went in our local branch on Tuesday, and didn't really notice much changed from the last visit last week.

Apart for the empty shelves, and the customers loaned models being removed from the display cases!

You have a real knack for the bargains Peter ........... Whenever I go to a car boot sale all I ever seem to see is a range of useless sh%te and a plethora of sodastreams and used sandwich toasters.

OK - I normally build 32 scale WW2 aircraft, but while at the Bovington Tank Museum I really could not resist buying this. It will make a nice change at some point. Already ordered an aftermarket 'mantle' for it.

I just got these today and what wicked value...I might have to try my hand at snow.

The t 34 was $24 nzd delivered and the Aerosan was $15 delivered. NZ dollar is half the GB pound so 12 and 7.50 pound delivered. Thank you model gods =)

Its very good. A far better range of armour than you will get in most model shops. Tammy, Italiari, AFV Club, Airfix - to mention just a few.

....the Canberra and SD.KFZ 11 were a total of just over £11 from modelzone, and the Porsche which was all new and sealed was £3.99 from a local charity shop!!!!

                              Cheers, Andrew
