      Had a financial windfall last week so treated myself to a little shopping spree in Schiphol:

      Some reference material for future projects and some kits to add to the pile....:tongue-out3:
      Also snatched some fine older kits from another shop when they bought up a little lot of them:

      Although most are 20+ years old, the contents mostly are like brand new.:nerd:

        Got a free delivery code from Amazon, so I treated myself to this:[ATTACH]304763[/ATTACH]

        Looks very nice. I looked at AM parts, but honestly, I don't think any PE really gives any real advantage over the plastic parts on this model ( maybe the seatbelts............). Anyone else have these thoughts?

              Whoa Fernando, had 6 right in Lotto did we??? Really nice haul there my friend. Love those old Monogram kits...

                Allen,
                yes, the Forger used 2 lift jets, as well as a vectored thrust engine. It was only used by the Russian Navy - there was no land equivalent

                    well how fast a week go,s,
                    last weekend was the big model show expo,over hear,
                    so no pic,s as I,m so bad at taking them,:rolling:
                    but how ever,there is also a big swap meet as well,I don,t go overboard,any more just look for what I.,
                    have not done or what I,need,as there is a few each year,
                    so I picked up this lot,that,I,m more than happy with,:smiling:
                    the tools are nice as well,there only about 3mm or so nice

                            thank you ,Peter,that's a very good question,,thats why I like swap meets so much,come across things you,would not get,the
                            3 of them for $20.oo was just to good,
                            I mite make up a little city scene,with them,don,t wont to paint them as maybe down the line worth some think lol,:smiling:

                                That Tiran 4 is a hefty box of lovely:blow-kiss: ...will be Stash fodder for a while though! The AK sand I’ve seen used a few times with great results...and brushes a much needed addition for general work.
