Hi all
Not posted on this thread before.....
We were on a short break in the Cotswolds, and I came across a model shop in Bourton on the water....to cut a long story short I was told by my wife that I needed this one "because it was just like Anthony's" (he's my daughter's boyfriend)...actually it isn't because his is a current Kawasaki ZZR 1400, not a Ninja, but it is at least green :flushed: As she has shown very little interest before, I bought it anyway....

It looks to be a really good kit, so I'm looking forward to clearing the decks and getting it underway....
One question for the bike builders that I have only just though of....how do you display them? they only have two wheels...and will be a little unstable on the side stand....can you get aftermarket paddock stands?
Cheers all
Tim
I find they are pretty stable on side stands, lean over OK - this may even have a centre stand too ....
Just got this through the post today, £32 delivered. Been after one for a while.

you only get paddock stands with the race bikes.........this is a road bike and im pretty certain you only get a side stand on it........they are pretty stable
specially if you glue the side stand 'down'........failing that try scratch building a paddock stand

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been
I’ve been on the lookout for a set of these for a while but didn’t want to pay silly money for such old kits, imagine my joy at finding these in a local charity shop for a fiver, and they’re still sealed.

Bargain rick , cant wait to see what you do with these , cheers tony
Paul, I can't help on the wood stain, but that looks to be very interesting build. Good luck!!!
The evilbay escapades have gone a little further with more toys!!!

I know Dave Ward built the Ahn and had fun so I can only hope I do too. I also found this very intriguing so I had to snatch one up...

I have always loved a good rocket launcher and this is a lesser known example of one. The kit appears to have roots in a Soviet 76mm ZIS-3 as there is a barrel and gun shield on the sprues...And finally for the Ahn above and my 2 Hanomag SS-100 tractors, I ordered these in resin. I don't want to take any chances of the rubber type compound of the tires melting onto or melting the rims……..

The downside is the sets have only 6 tires and no spare tire, but really well molded in resin……………..
