So ages ago I bought six of these

(Airfix 1/350 aircraft sets) when they were selling off for £1

Then sort of thought they needed to something to go with.....

Then maybe that's a bit small, so from never having considered a ship, gone to:

Some of my latest Oxford Die Cast vehicles for use on dioramas as a quick way to add interest to a scene. All will be detailed or weathered when used as there are no mirrors or little details like tax discs. The Land Rover Defender, of which I have many, will be used to populate an MOD train. I like the little J2 crew bus, tractors and early RAF Land Rover.

The civilian vehicles will be used to populate my 1970/80's layout and with the variety of vehicles that I have I can mix them up to refresh the look and give an impression of movement during a running session.

Those civilian cars look just like the old matchbox ones I used to have as a kid before they changed them to all plastic wheels

swmbo is getting into knitting at the moment.....Daughter #1 is expecting so swmbo is producing cardies and cot blankets and the like as if she is a production line.........i go to a local branch of Boyes for my Vallejo paint and ive been telling her to look in for her wool and stuff......finally got her in today so while she was looking at that i was picking up some air brush cleaner......she appeared at my shoulder and said was there any thing else i wanted?......and they had a 50% off sale on a selection of revell, airfix and hobbyboss kits......so since i was being forced to buy something i couldnt refuse her, could i? lol..this isnt really my scale, armour is braille or 1/35 to me!....but i wasnt going to turn it down at half price.............and we have the desert gb running.....i was going to something rather large (might still do yet) but this lot has got a dio forming in my head

                              Hi all,

I went to cadwell park yestersday to Modified live and Time Attack which was great as always.

I was just having a walk round the stands and found a model stall selling these! There was others but i resisted spending any more.
