Got this kit cheap in a local shop the other day.
I have to say I'm really not impressed with the quality of this kit, a heck of a lot of sanding is needed to get it to look half decent and the detail level is quite low. The tooling for this kit is dated 1963.
I have decided to go with a classic look on this one with a two tone paint job. The sides will be cream white and the rest of the body will be eggshell blue.Comment

I'll have to wait though until I have other decals to print so as not to waste a whole A4 sheet of decal paper!Comment

AH!! I think I've worked it out! Copy the box top picture, crop it to leave the flame, copy it onto a Word document, touch the corner and move it around to re-size it and print two copies onto decal paper. Use a very thin/paper thin plasticard, cut it to fit into the exhaust pipe, one copy of the flame decal on each side, hey presto, solved!

will look forward to seeing it all come together,Comment

Probably one of the most expensive and rare kits that I will own this one is the first generation of dalek kits.
And knowing me it won't take long to me to start itAttached FilesComment

I had one of those, they are reputed to be tricky to make. I sold it on e-bay for £56. That was in 2003.Comment

So having tried to build my own static grass applicator using an electric fly swatter, i found it didn't have enough power for longer grass. Plus using an open sieve made the grass go everywhere!
So I bought this

Naturally I forgot to buy a 9v battery! So playing around with it will have to wait until tonight.
If anyone is interested in something like this & how it works, I'll post up a review.
Cheers
