What a nice looking kit it is in the box, and the booklet you get is worth buying on it's own for the reference pictures.

Just hope it builds as nice

I see your build thread Ian and thanks for the heads up on the camo scheme. If it turns out half as good as yours I'll be happy mate.

Firstly my recent purchase is the Academy 1/48 f-15 Iraqi freedom, nice looking kit. I also got (for my birthday last week) Italeri 1/35 LVT-2 and Dragon 1/35 USMC Iwo Jima which I plan to combine with the Tarawa set in some kinda dio. Secondly that there Dora looks like an absolute monster, look forward to seeing the build. Thirdly I'm gutted to see how nice the Italeri Hurricane seems to be ( lots of good reviews) as a year or so ago I paid through the nose for the now discontinued 1/48 Hasegawa MkI Hurricane which is nice but not as nice as this kit seems to be.....I don't know Friday night a couple of bottles of Broadside and rambling on like a mad man.

          Sorry an goodnight

          Chris

My latest is something unusual. 50 bonus points to anyone who identifies it.

It looks like it has a tandem seat, open cockpit - or maybe they are the wing attachment points. Possibly a high-wing monoplane. No idea what it could be though.

A couple heading in the right direction there. It is a tandem biplane. Strictly civillian and quite manoeuverable.

Points to Mr Ole. Fair play sir.

Even in 1/48th scale the fuselage is about the size of the Mossie's nacelle.
