With the Me 109 drying I returned to building the gun and a work of art it is :thumb2:

Its a tad heavy with the metal barrel hence my mits to hold it up, note clean nails

It can be moved allowing up or down and with recoil if ness as the gun carrage slides, excellent engineering Tamiya

both the hydraulic cylinders which control the up/down come with a jig to ensure they stay round, the seam you can see is sanded so no lip, so should not show under paint :rolling:

    That's all folks

      Hi Bob
The gun does indeed look very nice. The metal barrel will stay nice and straight :thumb2:

        Afternoon Jim

Always use a metal barell as every time i made one in 2 parts it ended up being square or oval:flushed: easy to build thanks to excellent plans and parts fit:thumb2:

Might prime and paint the complete gun assembly on its own

        Bob

Bit surprised at a lot of injector marks on the inside of the side panels and other bits, took a while to sand and tidy up, but back at it chaps

                  hope its ok:thinking:
