I have placed in on a simple base. I think I will loose the figure I'm really not happy with it.

I agree Paul, the jeep and its accessories are so good that the figure just detracts from it.

I thought so as well it looks like he has a full pamper from the back he has now been removed.

Fantastic job Paul. I agree that the figure spoils the composition but that's because of the base, not the figure.
Don't give up on the figure conversion stuff, for a first attempt he shows great promise.

Brilliant model. The figure himself is not bad at all. Maybe it doesn't work here but as Neil says "Don't give up on the figure work". A figure or two will certainly enhance one or more of your future builds.

Historex agents used to do figure parts, also Royal Models do hands etc.

An added floppy hat, left hand glove to hold hot parts, & a butt trim, done. Figures are hard but do add life.

The figure was okay, but he made the scene look too cluttered, in my opinion.

Pete, I agree and in away I think it is still a bit cramped. I wanted to try something different to my normal bases.
