Hi, just found out about this shop, apparently full of old kits of all sorts.
Its off the Broadway in Bexleyheath Kent.
Can't find a website, and the faceache page looks like its not been updated for a while.
Also looks like they are only open three days a week (Tues, Thurs and Sat)
Found a YT video which looks like it was only posted about a month ago, see linky below:
Has anyone ever been there? and if so, is it worth a visit?

There is a website Peter. https://kitkrazy.wixsite.com/kitkrazy
Website looks rather cheap and nasty. I'd use caution if I were you. John's prices are competitive, best to support the forum by buying your equipment and supplies etc from him if you can.

Thanx for the link to the website. The YT video looked like he had lots of interesting kits, at all prices, a bit of an Alladin's cave!
I do already buy from SMS, (waiting for some oil paints to be delivered to today actually), but I'm not averse to buying from other people as well.
And I have a local model shop that is very good that I like to support when I can also.

One of my sisters lives in Bexleyheath, so I know the area, but I've never been shopping down the high Street (Broadway) so have never seen that shop before, he's been there about 30 years apparently.

I think I will drive down there one day and give it a browse. Cheers

Odd as it may sound I was brung up in Bexleyheath. Moved away in 1980-81 and was back for a year in 83. So I was gone by the time he came to town. I had to go to Beaties in Lewisham !

Yep spent many hours in Beaties. I grew up in Peckham, Bermondsey, Deptford, so Lewisham was a regular haunt on Saturdays.

I worked in Covent Garden and Holborn so remember Beatties in High Holborn well.
Only talked about it a couple of weeks ago when we were sat in My Old Dutch opposite its last location.
Upmarket Hotel and Bar/Lounge place there now, Princess Louise pub hasn't changed much though
Another landmark shop was Gamages on the corner of Holborn Circus and Hatton Garden

When we were kids, we would sometimes get the bus, think it was a no' 12 from the Old Kent Road, which would take you all the way to the West End and we would wonder around Regent Street and Oxford Street, but ultimate destination was Hamley's toy shop, the holy grail for kids!!! 😉😉😉
