Couple more washes/panel liners for the collection....
Afternoon chaps!
So yours truly got another year older earlier this week and so what follows comes completely guilt free on the stash front!!
A combination of son, daughter, mum and work. My wife and I had a trip to London a couple of weeks ago, so that covered her gift.

Bought with money from my mum.
Been looking for a set for months to go with the AFV M41 in the stash but they are likes hens teeth and/or going from silly money from Japan. Finally my saved eBay search paid off when a hobby store got some in stock....and with perfect timing too.

- The book has got very good reviews on a number of podcasts I'm on and has recently been released as a paperback, so I pre-ordered it in the Spring,
- The Tiffy kit is a charity purchase and also a Spring pre-order. Airfix have partnered with a charity that is rebuilding one to flying condition as there are currently none, with all profits going to the charity. And as it's a special kit and I intend to do it canopy open, I splashed out on a load of AM parts
The Toblerones (including a new flavour) are from my son and the fancy chocolates are from my work - everyone gets a gift on their birthday

Not modelling related, but after driving my temporary runabout for 3 years 
I've finally found myself a new motor, a BMW X5.
It took a long time to find the right colour, model, condition & mileage, but I've finally done it. With the 40d engine it goes like a scalded cat, however running costs might be a little higher than the 3 cylinder Suzuki Alto it replaces

A quick trip to the Sussex Model Centre this morning...
I want to give the 'rattle can' varnishes a go and am slowly increasing the Tamiya paint stash. The Spitfire just jumped off the shelf, lovely little kit and having given the contents of the box a once over, the moulding is still good: no short shots or flash.
Ah, you have to watch out for Spitfires (insert other kit of choice) they have a habit of doing that
Got this from Aldi, going to practice using aluminium foil on this.
That's a nice kit. Built it a while ago but just used paint

The commando jeep is a brill little kit.....i did that and the tamiya sas jeep along with a couple other jeep kits ....looked great in a row
After having my car written off a couple of months ago, and fighting the insurance company for a decent pay off for it.. (which i got in the end), I grabbed another insignia..(I'm a vauxhall man..lol), this car developed an 'adblue pump' issue within a couple of days, so it was returned to the dealer for them to rectify it... after having it for just over three weeks they folded and offered me a full refund..(just over £6,500),
So within a few hours I'd sourced another car which cost me a couple of grand more, but it's the exact version of this car I wanted, it was delivered on thursday (this week), so here she is... the addition to the household..
