discussion German V3000S truck decals

Hi all. I’m building one of these (see “on the bench” for progress) and have mislaid the decals. I’ve had a look around with no luck. Not sure Revell still make it, it’s been in the stash for an age, so haven’t bothered contacting them. Does anyone know of an aftermarket source for some?

Hi Paul.
Thanks for the offer. I would like numberplates, division/unit codes, and (at a push) the travel codes off the doors. However, the most important are the numberplates. I may be able to bodge up or steal the division/unit codes from kits in the stash. I’m not interested in SS codes though, I don’t build them.

Just had a brainwave…..I’m not that worried about total accuracy, so I will search for Opal Blitz decals as well. Must be more of those around…….

Quinta do a set of 3D decals. Mostly interior and intended for the ICM kit but may be worth a look.

Hi Paul.
I’ve just had another good look, and I’ve found numberplates and unit codes. I knew I must have had some as I’ve built a couple of armoured cars and a staff car that had spare decals left over, and have now found them stored in the wrong box .

Thanks Jim. The ICM kit is identical to the Revell one, even has ICM on the sprues. I have seen these, but I can bodge the instrument panel from aircraft decals and the rest don’t really cover what I need. Thanks for the heads up though, very kind of you.
