Well, I’m back! Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated, etc…

Looking back I can see that it was November 21 that I finished my last project:

Sorry it has been so long. It’s all the usual excuses: work, family, life, etc. I haven’t even been much of a lurker…

The bottom three images (a King Tiger box illustration, some Tiger wheels and then a car) are not mine.

There are more above (mostly cars for some reason).

Is everyone else seeing this - or am I going mad?!

Well, this platform is now identical to another one that I use a lot, an Air Rifle forum, so its all familiar to me, (settings, layout, etc) so thats good.
Will just try uploading a pic now....

Edit, yep worked fine.
I prefer this platform for adding photos etc, seems much easier, although the old platform was ok, just different.
Thanx , I'm sure there was a lot of hard work and time that went into getting everything transferred, etc. Cheers

Got this kit today and immediately started it!
I've done a few little 1:35th scale figures now, so I think I'm getting to grips with it, just a little bit.....
I did ok (ish) with my first big 1:16th figure (British Airbourne Red Devil), considering it was a first attempt, but I would like to do a little bit better this time.
Especially regarding the face, and the finer detail, so we shall see how I get on with this one....

Thread 'Peters British ATMP Gekko models 1/35'

So my entry into this first GB of 2026 will be the little six wheeled British ATMP (All Terrain Mobility Platform) vehicle.
This is a Gecko model in 1:35th scale complete with driver and fully loaded rear pallet.
I think (not 100% sure yet) that I might do a little diorama for this one, maybe a sandy landscape, say Afghanistan or similar?
Looks fairly detailed. I will put some sprue pics up in a bit, but for now here's the box art, etc....

What are you guys using for image-names? Something personal or like 2025_01_20.jpg? Sort of looks like a similar naming issue?

Just went into the Gecko x6 wheeler one and I could edit it myself and delete the offending pic.
Just done the other threda too, German soldier in winter camo, and I could edit that one myself too.
So seems like the edit function is still on, even for very old posts, so you might want to look at that?

What are you guys using for image-names? Something personal or like 2025_01_20.jpg? Sort of looks like a similar naming issue?

I tend to use personal ones, and in the two cases I linked above the file names were not close or similar at all (eg: mine v added new ones?)

You should be able to edit your own posts to correct them. There is also another image problem I spotted in a few posts. When you click on them, they go to a 404 page and the URL is http://filedata/fetch?id=1274361&d=1767796085

it's an easy fix, edit the post and insert image again, I think it was to do with the way they was attached originally

I have started deleting the rogue images (almost all of them cars!) from my post. It's working OK, but I am unable to replace all the missing images that they pushed out becasue it says I can only attach 10 files to each of my posts. Why is this? I definitely had more than 10 images in some of them?

It's just a setting I need to change, I don't want to change too much until everything is working.

I have noticed that on the last incarnation, you could make a comment which came up in the OP's post. Now they come up as a post in their own right.. So if you see some misplaced/misaligned/confusing posts here and there, we now know why.

It should resize them if they are too big, I'm not sure why it failed first time.
