Tirpitz with this and that, slow return for me

More railings, room for improvement. But using thin brass rod to apply the ca is very helpful, just got to sort out the amount placed?

Upper superstructure is loose

Thanks chaps, Paul far too kind sir, Nick getting closer to priming!

Just finished the worse pe so far, well for my skills anyway. Railings with lots of turns. Fitted using the one turn at a time method. Glue, wait, fit and Glue next section etc.

Very nerve wracking i can tell you. Not perfect but pleased that all the messing about is starting to pay off!

using the Dspiae spherical vise, its superb for pe! The sphere is very heavy but moves very easily in many angles. Very steady of course due to weight!

Looking good Bob. Pleased that Julie is doing well. Any luck with your house move?
Pete
Hi Pete, kind of you! No, not yet most bungalows are the classic 2 bed downsize ones, too small as we are not downsizing, or, on or by a busy rd! I can't wait to design and set up the modelling room!!

Hope you are ok?

So more progress

Added the searchlight platform on top of the floatplane hanger using the 3 pe struts. Was dreading this and used more ca than usual, however its nice and firm. The ca will be hidden by the ships boats. Next decision is wether to fix the main mast and then add the various ladders, platforms etc or fit off the hanger??

I'm enjoying the build. Tirpitz is a fine ship & you're doing it justice for sure. PE can be APITHA but there's no denying it is the only solution in many cases.
