Hi Peter - aircraft- WW2 is my initial area of interest. Will post some pics when I get to an appropriate point in the build. Very early stages at present.

Hi Marnei. Yep, loads changed around twenty years or so ago with the emergence of hobby acrylic paint and new kit manufacturers pushing quality forward. I think we are going through a similar upheaval now with the adoption of 3D printing. It is quickly replacing the traditional small cottage producers of resin add ons and detail improvements. Great time to start again mate, interesting times ahead

Thanks Tim - the 3D printing really interests me, but I’m going to try and avoid falling down that particular rabbit hole for a little while
