Evening Mr Race, The T34 and StuG look good under a coat of primer 👍

I must admit to liking Tamiya paints and Mr Hobby primers however I’ve recently been using VMS acrylic primer and find it very smooth
Evening Si , hope you and the family are well . Thanks for commenting.VMS, is that the ready to spray product?

That's a much smoother paint job John, very nice. I still use acrylics and enamels occasionally, but for me the ease of Tamiya and Mr Color paints makes the process a much more pleasant experience. I also use a HP-CS, a great piece of equipment which is like the Toyota Hilux of the airbrush world. You can't really go wrong with it.
Hi Joe, yes, I've kept all my acrylics, will use them for figures and buildings. Love that AB, so precise.

Iwata are the best in my opinion. I have a top of the range H&S and two decent pistol grips but my Iwata is the best by far.
Primer looks lovely and smooth.
Thoughts are with you and Christine at such a difficult time.

Thanks Jim, can't belive how good it is. The H& S sit in the drawer since I managed to mess up those nozzles just before H&S started to put the rings on them.
I appreciate your thoughts, re Christine.

Today saw the start of the painting. Using XF-60 a dark yellow . Will spray a second coat of XF - 88 dark yellow to do the highlights.

Sprayed at a low setting of 12 to 15 psi and a mix of 2 to 1 using Mr Colour Thinners.

Noticed a bit missing on the bike, will do that bit in XF-88.

I use mainly Tamiya acrylics and a few lacquer and find them pretty bullet proof but not painting at the moment due to 37 degree heat.

In the cave I have a fan, still hot though. Think the draft from the garden helps and I could feel the breeze without the fan.Temp was 32.
