I use Testors Decal Bond in a spray can, but not sure if they still make it. Basically it's a protective film you apply over old decals to prevent disintegration or tearing of the decal's carrier film. Others use a clear varnish, it does pretty much the same thing. You need to cut pretty close to the decal after applying a varnish bonder. If they're yellowed make sure you whiten them in UV first. Hope this answers your question Miko.Ooooh, what's that? Sounds useful, I could probably use such a thing

HI Scottie ok be nice to have you along on the journey lets hope things go okI will follow along Chris
HI ITS Tony isnt it ? well many thanks for the info an yes ive this morning sent for that microsol to keep the decal togeather hopefully but was very exspensive 16 pounds but hope it will save my deacals if not then i'll pop to hannants to ask if they can help me so hopefully all will be ok an yes i'll take my time building them back main undercart as ive heard from other modelers saying they are a job to build so i;ll study the destrucions an see whats what cant be much more stressing than them planes on my hornet so yes it should be lit up boatman style lolHi chris , great project . I built this a few years back and its a huge kit ! Ive done enough old Monogram kits to know the decals will be knackered , guaranteed , I would definitely get some decal film on them . The undercarriage is something to watch for too, its beautifully detailed but very complicated and a bit fragile . Btw the big fuel tank under the fuselage also contained the nuclear bomb ! Its an amazing looking machine and its going to look wicked all lit up boatman style !
GLAD you like her Steven just got to hope all the parts are there as someone elese has had it an there are small holes in the spruce bags but magic there will be if i can but ive just sprayed main fusealarge an that big tank in a nice silver an they look good but a problem pops up already as i cant find that big bag of 2 mm leds that was goin to be used for the lights but i'll get jen up on monday too have a look as she always finds what im lookin for as she is like a missing parts radar lolNice project Chris, looking forward to your magic, cheers![]()
