An introduction.
Male, in my 76th year, was an avid plastic modeller until life and running my own business got too involving around 40 odd years ago. My wife and I ran our own rural Devon garage business until November 2023 when I had to retire. Didn't want to but my back was starting to go (and those 22 inch 4wd wheels with tyres on don't get any lighter!) and although I had become to "go-to" local chap for electronic faults there wasn't enough work to be worth keeping going just for that. And then three weeks after retiring and coming back from a holiday in India I had a stroke (and don't we all just love Mother Nature!). Not bad as it happens but the entire world to my right seems to have gone walk-about and I can't drive. But I still think I dodged a bullet, if you had seen some of the people I was with in the one night I spent in hospital...
Anyway, all that aside, I have three lovely daughters, a lovely wife and a food obsessed but very gentle rescue Greyhound called Angel.
But that's it really. Oh, and my doctor keeps telling me I drink too much but, although he means well, he's a very dull chap!
