I am just curious, what is the smallest amount people use when airbrushing? In particular I am thinking when you want to paint something small that needs a different primer or colour? Normally, i just go to brush, but my current build will need two missiles in white primer and the rest in grey. That is a small amount to use in a AB as a single colour, or is it?

I use an airbrush whenever I can. Often such a small amount of paint that I unscrew the paint cup. Sadly it takes much, much more time to set up and then clean the airbrush than doing the actual painting.

In truth, that's what puts me off - cleaning for a tiny amount of paint!

I'm much the same as Jim. I only use laquers and they are buggers to brush, so I do as much as possible with a AB.

Waiting to see what the new Gaalhier Omni paints are like. Apparently spray like laquers but no smell and easy to brush, we shall see???
