Been off the net for quite a while - I've been unwell, and to add to the misery, my cold water cistern sprang a terminal leak, and caused a flood, which stressed me out somewhat (!!). I've managed to eventually arrange a replacement, but all this has left me in a fragile state. I'm feeling a bit more optimistic, but any benchtime is not likely for a while - all I want to do is sleep at the moment. I'm afraid I've let my 'spots on the internet' slide, but I'm hopeful of resuming the service - it may be at odd times of the day, when I surface!
Keep Safe All!

Absolutely no need to apologise. Your health and floods trump this hobby.

Hope you're feeling better.

good to see you surface for a quick update Dave,
go take as much time as you need, we'll all still be here when you feel up to returning..
take care mate.

Sorry to hear your news Dave ,never rains but it pours hang in there hopefully can only start to get better from here. Dave

Health first Dave. Take your time and come back whenever you're ready. I'm sure the rabble will still be here lol

Sorry to hear that Dave. Take it easy for a while.
Pete

Ah yes Dave, That old thing called "life" caught up with you a bit aye?
Don't worry though, you are not alone.

Have been "off" for a few days myself, you see the "old man" just can't seem to stay out of trouble (or hospital).
And not from any of my many ailments, but because I still think I'm 35 at times...always a mistake.

Taking a tumble in the woods doing something I should have told the person I was doing it for
to go to Hell.
Of course every one over bloated the situation and there I was being trundled
of to the docs where I made a real spectacle of my self to the point that the Missus
said "Next time we'll let you lie there!"

Not taking into account that I walked over a quarter mile back out grumbling about
a lousy bump and a scrape or two. The wife gets all teary and says when will you ever grow up?

You'll be fine and back at the bench soon enough,

Cheers! Jim.

Please take care Dave. Hope you're back on track soon. Like Alan said, We (the Rabble) aren't going anywhere any time soon. Just take it slow Sir....

Prost

Sorry to read that Dave. Been there and got the badge with the house flood- big sympathy for you! Take care and try to not let it wear you down.

Get yourself sorted out Dave. We are secondary to your good health and wellbeing so worry about yourself, not us. We will be pleased to see you back when you are ready though, because you’ll be missed!

Hi Dave
Sorry to hear things are rough for you at the moment. Take care of yourself.
Jim

Take care of yourself Dave, plenty of stuff to stress us out in this life, sometimes a bit of downtime does us good. Take it easy, we're here when you come back.

Sorry to read that Dave, nothing like a water leak/ burst pipe as Andy well knows.
Just the final straw with this Covid thing as well.
Take it easy , and try to relax.
