Sorry folks but please indulge me a bit, could hardly sleep disliking pics so much. I failed to show full scale of dio, the darkness was kinda cool but so much hard worked detail was not visible. Thought natural day light might work out better, maybe I need a better camera or something. I just knew it needed better justice. Thanks for all your kind comments they are very much appreciated. Hope these are a little better, sorry to be a site clogger :$ ................Jim :/

That's a medal winner if ever there was one.

Great work Jim. truly shows the horror of war.

The new pics show it off much better Jim! Previously I didn't even see the unfortunate chap trying to exit the Somua!

Excellent stuff!

justice, done Jim,much better, you know what I think,so no need to say more, stunning love it,with all the horror, but do like the

guy pulling the pore horse down, well done, and a kind jester in the middle of it all, :D superb my friend, 9_9

excellent job mate, the blood effects are perfect to render this dio realistic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, an outstanding piece of work Jim, loads of hard work as gone into this.

Thanks for posting new pictures Jim - they really do the work justice.

Thanks so much Monica, just had to do a re-shoot, glad these look better to you. Putting poor old Sea Biscuit down was your inspiration to me, glad it worked so well in main scheme. Large dios such as this do tend to drain one a bit (until the next one ^_^ ) .....Cheers...Jim :)

Man oh man that is so good, if you did some of those shots in black and white they would look real. You have captured the mood and feeling perfectly and the detail is truly outstanding, truly one of the best I've seen.

Thank you ever so much Ken, you flatter me too much :$  I've always liked when other members did some b&w pics, it does give it a different perspective kind of like old "era" photos. I'll definitely look into photoshop........Thanks again.......Jim :)

This truly is a great piece of work Jim. Totally gross, but that is the horror of war.

Thanks John, I knew a bright red would look too un-authentic so I went with a color called "patio brick" in the cheapie acrylic craft paints I use, suitably thinned with plain water into a kind of wash

The pics are much better than before. I don't think you need a new camera. Most are sharp although two or three are a bit out of focus over the whole of an individual model, and in the first shot of the whole dio: the bit nearest the camera is a little fuzzy. Perhaps a higher f-number (smaller lens opening) and a timed exposure would help. But all the rest look pretty sharp to me. I like the lighting. The shadows are not so dark that they obscure detail, and just right, fuzzy edges wise, and therefore not too sharp and harsh. The views of your bench and table cloth distract me rather.

Again, this time round, I find this dio disturbing, with all that carnage. True to life (or death) of course. Very good.
