well calling this one,done,was not with out its challengers,as It was quite plain,without a real lot of detail,


I have done well maybe not my best ,but gave it a good shot,to paint in a face with only some of a nose,to work off,


I,m quite happy with how its turned out,maybe not a master ,but I think its ok, :/

hard to paint a happy looking face ,or maybe it just reflects of  me :S

Very nice work all round Monica.


What really stands out for me is the striping on the cat,really well painted.


I also like that you have used the shield as the base which is also very well painted.

for the face,eyes,mouth,eyebrows and lines,I use a 5/0,and upwards,hope this is of some help,its a nice detailing size I find, 9_9

I live in a small rural community 200k's west of Brisbane , called pittsworth .you must have a steady hand , I thought it would have been smaller lol .

what about getting models,mostly on line,


thats a very fine brush,and I only use the very tip of it,it only about 5 hairs I think,takes so time to get used to it,and some


days I just cannot use it as I get a bit shaky at time,s

I'm not far from stanthorpe and it snowed there the other day lol , these day's I'm a gardener on the council , looking forward to retirement , yes! most of my models I get from online , every now and then , I get down to Brisbane's hobby shop's for s browse , you'd be right in Melbourne though wouldn't you , I asked on my site , can you delete a site and start again , as my pic's weren't coming out , is that possible .
