the rust effect looks good as well, :D

I went for the F350 for the fact it's different, the parts look crisp and clean on mine...I guess it's a case of seeing how it builds up  o.O

John, I prefer the two tone of your f-350 so when I do my one in 1/24 that's what I going to do. I don't know why they are different in different scale sizes

No sure if it's new Monica but having brought the ak weathering bible :D  I thought I'd acquire some ak products

Only got the 1/35 Mark as I'll use it a diorama

Nice stuff John, and a good idea buying the Spit Weekend Edition to use up the left-over Profipack decals ;)

Are you building the F350 as is, or as a 'technical' with a gun in the back?

I might just rough it up Mike and add some scratch build parts Mad Max style ¬¬ . The spitfires I got cause I just wanna throw bmf at them from different manufactures I've got alclad mr hobby ak true metal and Vallejo metal. I'm building the Airfix 1/24 P51 mustang at the moment and I'll be experimenting on that also.  :/

Well after seeing paul and scotts posts about cheap kits in Home Bargains i had to have a look. They had five different ones so naturally i came out with five ! All £2.99 .Word of warning though , do a bit of research - theyre not all new toolings. The spitfire vb is the ancient raised detail no cockpit version from the sixties, all the other four are new toolings. The mustang and hurricane being particularly well detailed . Cheers tony

HK Models are doing a Spey RAF Phantom in 1/32 scale.  Not sure when it will be released but I am sure I will get one.

I so did NOT need to read that...a good RAF spook has always been a wanted kit.

I do apologise for telling you, clearly a second mortgage will now be needed....  I bet it wont be south of £250....

Hmm try third lol. Just bought the 1/200 HMS Hood....

Still there will probably be a year or three before that one hits the shops. Any news on the Lancaster and Sunderland...

It must be some kit for that sort of money.

Knowing what HK are capable of and having seen some of their stuff. Barry's Mossie included, it will probably be spectacularly good

I have not heard anything at all about the Lanc apart from a revised release date of September but, based on their track record, the could well slip....

As for the Sunderland, that is well behind and I am not even sure if they have decided to bring that out in 1/48 instead of 1/32 as the size of the 1/32 Sunderland might be too much even for them!!!   Much bigger than the Lanc and B17.

Well their B17 is around £250 and the Lanc will be a similar price, they are a lot of plastic.

While I think there is a good chance that the Phantom  will be that kind of price as it will be also be a lot of plastic, but it might, if we are lucky, come in at less than that if they think they will get the sales and after all there is a fair bit of competition in 1/32 unlike the B17 and Lanc.
