Yep I already mentioned CHEATING, attempting to change ones style will definitely be considered cheating. I think that's the only rule we need here.

Maybe "rulings" was a bit harsh, My meaning was more of an idea that if one did not want to be quickly found out they may want to be a bit mysterious  ... ^_^

Well if anyone had seen it, it would be a dead give away. No you definitely can't change anything about your build tech, that's the whole point, can you see a modeler from their style.

Just post say 5 or 6 photos, no words & let the forum guess. Obviously if doing a new build, keep it as you would normally.

Those who've been building for a few years might have stuff that's never been shown or that goes way back that many might not have seen before.

Nice idea, Patrick, posting old stuff. But 'oldies' like thee and me that might remember some old work would have to keep shtum - for a while at least......

True enough Ron, but there's quite a few of the  'new blood' who won't have seen everything... especially as a lot of older stuff has disappeared from the gallery after successive forum upgrades ;)

I like the idea of just a few pics and no comments on new or old builds (members choice) Couldn't they just be posted in a "Guess Who" thread? Each person can just take the number of their order of posting until December and then the "Guess Off" can begin...exactly how I would leave to a more knowing mind :|

Hi all well i can't start a new wip as we're on holiday in 2 weeks and it would be a dead giveaway if I started then stopped .

First of Thank you for saving my mail box from exploding! Good idea.
To keep it as simple as possible I would suggest people post one photo per post. No text just a picture. Naturally you can make as many postes as you like. Doing it this way will make it easier for people to come with their guess come judgement day. Mwaaah.

ok I,m a little confused, :S ,well I do have blonde hair, :D

I wont to be in on this one,but got a little lost of what I should be doing about it,all,to much paint and glue in the morning, :S

Ha, I've got this sussed. I'll wear a hat and scarf when I post, and they won't be mine either !

It's really quite simple moni. A profile has been made so people can post a picture without their name showing up to keep the posters identity secret. you need to log on with these details.

Account name: Kens' Modellers Style

Password:  password    That is to say just type password in the box for the password :)

Once logged on you just post one picture at a time. No text, just the picture. People then have to guess who it was that built the model shown in the picture.

I wouldn't do it as a WIP Ken, just the finished article

If we make this a Christmas thing as many people have suggested, are their prizes for the best guesser? Maybe John can donate something.... ;)

I think half the knowing who built a model would be in the build processes. Maybe no text but I think build process pics would help with who built the kit.

I think too many will guess the desk more than the model.... I think we should keep it simple and just stick with the finished build.

I hadn't thought of that that's true I only take pic in one of three places, that's a good point I think all builds for this should be taken where people don't normally photograph their models or as you say it will be a bit of a giveaway
