What did you fly in today?

Typical. We have had tropical summer weather for like 70 days, you come and visit and it rains!
Can you try for a job at the 'airport' at Holeby on Lolland. We could use a bit of rain. lol.
Did you find Stoppels?

Went to Hong Kong in 1960 on one of these.

Britannia. Two stops, Istanbul and India. Think it took 12 hrs !
Last plane was some thing you went up by the back and had rear mtd engines, while travelling to Germany in the Army.

It was 0730 in the morning and you know I need my beauty sleep. That's why I only shot the pic out of my window...

Nope! I didn’t have time in the end, I was in CPH for a total of 30 hours and only managed a business lunch in Dragor. The shop opening hours aren’t very convenient.

I had an unexpected flight in this Rapide yesterday. It landed at the airfield (Lasham) where I’m currently working. The owner offered to take us up in it as a Thankyou for storing it in one of the hangars overnight. Lady pilot is a British Airways A320 captain. The flight was a great experience. I’m the little fat guy on the right of the photo!.

That’s so cool. I was in Alton yesterday to visit the model shop and passed Lasham, didn’t see anything flying.

I pas that shop on the way to work each day. I only see model railway and car stuff in the window. We flew at 1,000ft to Basingstoke and back. So you wouldn't have seen it around Alton

That’s their key sales product but they also have Airfix and such like in there, he still has the Airfix 1/48 Tempest and Walrus from the initial issue.

There were another 2 seats behind me at the back.So it can take up to 8 passengers

Nice one Dave.
Didn't go in them of course but this afternoon there was a great roar as what I think would have been by the sound the Red Arrows flying quite low over Stamford. No good in rushing outside as they were long gone :crying:, even though we never tire of seeing them.
As several of the crew live in the area and the OC went to school here we often are treated to fly past as they go to some display.
John.
