First a big round of beers, applause to Peter for getting this one off the ground and a thank you to all those mad enough to have a go. (I'm rather looking forward to that red Cromwell lol).
Without further ado, over to Peter to make a roll call and post the rules He has laid down for this build.
Cheers, I mean clap, clap, clap

Welcome chaps just to clarify the rules.
Use only what's in the kit.
No airbrushing.
No altering the kit.
No micrsol or equivalent.
Only tools allowed.
Knife
Tweezers
Spure cutter
Masking tape.
And sand paper or stick.
Just remember you are now ten years old.
And most importantly have fun.

Hi Peter
Glad this made the start. It will be light relief. Just one point - I think you said somewhere earlier that sprue cutters would be OK to use. Is that right or not?
Jim

Found it on the original thread back on Nov 28th
"Tools permitted will be the minimum of what is needed ie : knife, spure cutter and sanding stick or what ever you have to hand but it has to basic."

Nice one Peter..
Yippee, I'm 10 years old and I'm being allowed to run around with a lethal scalpel. I might even take it to my Cubs meeting tonight!......:tongue-out3: ..... :face-with-head-bandage::face-with-head-bandage:

Here's my entry.

The Postie actually thrust this into my hand a short while ago................View attachment 322603
Unlike my 10 year old self, I'm going to put this away, unopened, until the GB starts.
Four colours, Red, Black, Silver & Grey. Tiny brush! going to be fun to try & paint overall red, and get a good finish!

My entry for the GB. :)

What's the score with weathering products, are we allowed after market or is it just a case of mixing and thinning the kit paints? Also, varnish, yay or nay?

It has to be using the kit contents and nothing else hence the name starter set challenge.
But I will allow extra glue if run out.

No only Simon does that..:flushed::flushed::flushed:
John.
I shall sit and watch and keep an eye on Ron.
