Just a quick thank you to all those who have served and are still serving our country here and abroad. Stay safe and stay strong.

Absolutely right alan , respect and gratitude to every single one .

Here here
I attended the parade in Salisbury and was very impressed, especially when the whole parade had to mark time for about five minutes when the tank transporter got stuck in our medieval streets....got quite a few pictures if anyone is interested.....

Post away Tim. Always great to see our Armed Forces parading.

There was a wonderful Armed forces day up on Plymouth Hoe with a red arrows fly by. Let the fallen never be forgotten and the serving forever supported.

The arrows got about a bit then.....

Hope you like them. If you know the regiment identifications then feel free to correct me :thumb2:

We also had an event down on the seafront here in sunny Littlehampton. Was hoping to have a ride on the APC that has been before but it wasn’t here this year:tired:

Wasn’t as much stuff as we’ve had before but the kids enjoyed it and got to sit on stuff and handle various arms.
We did have a spit flying over performing loops, gave me goosebumps! Was very warm and by lunchtime we had all had enough!

Managed a few pictures...

the ones with the red strides are almost certainly a cavalry regiment....dont know which one but its the thing they do

the ones after the Gurkhas are i think, Royal Irish Regiment

light blue berets is the Army Air Corps

yes it is an RAF band, no idea which one

yes it is the RAF Regiment.......fine bunch of lads....not biased in the least

the 'not sure' are RAF Air Cadets

since i wasnt a brown job i dont know Army Regiments very well, sorry i cant identify them

Thanks Paul
Air cadets were obvious when I looked at it again....they were the third cadet cadre.....good shout on the others though....I did wonder if the red stride chaps were RHA? They would be quite high in the order of precedence..........

You sure that is RAF Rock Apes (RAF Regiment)? They don't appear to have the Rock Ape badge on the top of their arms/shoulders. Could be a local airbase detachment.

Nice photos Si. Looks like you and the family had a nice day out.

Opposite the Windmill theatre on the Green is Bayford Road where I was brought up. Me old girl still lives in Wick just outside Littlehampton who we visit regularly. You know when its been a crap summer if the Green is green. I remember the summers of the seventies when the Green was always yellow :smiling5:
