Hello my Friends.
This is my latest from Mitches Military Models.

For many years I have always said to my Wife that I wanted to paint a bust/figure in gold.Well here it is folks.

I simply built the kit undercoated it with Tamiya black gloss then used alclad pale gold, jet exhaust and steel randomly sprayed all over,I then drybrushed with Tamiya gold leaf.Finally I used sepia oil wash with a touch of burnt umber.I did 8 washes in all adding a touch of burnt umber each time.

Great work Ralph. Looks like a valuable antique bronze.

My goodness Ralph, the sculpting is so good all it needs is light filtering of color to bring it out.

Ralph, That looks superb If you had not had said anything I would have assumed that was a bronze.
