Moving along nicely on this one.
Got the lower hull finished, muffler, deflector, rear tow fitted.

Cleaned up road wheels, return rollers, rear idler, drive sprockets and assembled.

Dry fit only.

Cheers for looking in.
Pete.

Someone rang! Sorry a bit late had a crappy day, now have aching joins and muscles to add to everything bloody else:angry:

Moan over, ahh a lovely Stug!! You cannot beat a tamiya Stug for a nice, calm build.

Bugger all wrong with that Pete, good job sir. Enjoy cleaning the seams on the wheels! If you need help just contact the Stug helpline at

"Everything else is poo"

Great to see a Stug on the go

Hi got a bit more done.

Took a step backwards I was building the early type but have decided to do the late version.
So added extra lower hull side armour plates

Swapped the supplied spare tracks with some magic links which have a lot more detail, drilled out track link pin holes.

A jig is supplied to position the ventilator, antenner blocks, more spare track links and rail.

Fitted front spare track links and rail.

I will be adding concrete armour which was a field modification started in early 1944.
Fitted the single 80mm nose armour plate which came out in May 1943,
Fitted visor block, front hatches and front engine hatches & covers

Fitted rear air intakes and added mesh grills, rear hook fitted.

Thank you for looking in
Cheers Pete.

Pete

Looking very nice start. Out of interest what is that multi-holed block I keep seeing?
