Scotties Puma AAGB

Hi Scottie
Wonderful etch work. Almost a shame to paint it but it sure looks good with a coat of primer. The detail will be fiddly to paint but is preferable to trying to stick ready painted bits onto a painted model without glue marks - then touch ups

Hi Jim.
Thanks mate. Some if the details will be fiddly I have already knocked off some bits I dropped it while priming it but luckily nothing to serious.

Got to agree on the turned wheels, they look so much better than all being dead ahead.

Paint!! Oh no! I was really enjoying this one come together. Well the wheels certainly make the diference. Great idea to put them at an angle as well. Lookimg forward to seeing the colour scheme you go for.

Hi Paul excellent work as usual a masterclass in "how to do it".
Shame to paint it sometimes it that hides all that hard work.

Andy, thanks fella the wheel stations by the fact that they were so simple and under detailed they were quite simple to turn just don't look closely underneath.

Steve, Yes mate it is a shame sometimes to paint these builds. Glad you like the wheels.

I used my new airbrush to try putting on some pre shading not in the class of the Richards of this world but it is an improvement on my normal attempts under the fenders it is nearly all darkened. I didn't want it to stark so used Dark German grey in stead of black. Next will be a coat of dark yellow.

Smart stuff Scottie. Looks like you've got used to the new airbrush very quickly.

Neat detailwork at the turret Paul and a nice sharp pre-shade.
Like Greg curious to the camo scheme:smiling:

Thanks Fernando glad you like it so far.

Hi Scottie
Preshade looks good. It is quite a skill to get it to work well. Richard F is certainly the expert. Look forward to the colour coat.

Thanks Jim, Your right there is definitely a skill to it one I have yet to master.

Pigs ear to a silk purse springs to mind. You have packed the detail onto this ageing kit. Great work!

Morning Scottie - can I ask what is holding that ammo box on the left in front of the shovel? I can’t see any straps or brackets, have I missed something?
