I'm building a tamiya nissan 350z for my son and I've come across some decals I've not seen before. The instructions call them metal decals. They are on a fairly thick plastic sheet with a paper backing. Could anyone who has had experience with these kindly inform me how to use them. Many thanks in advance.IMG_20200106_193903.jpgIMG_20200106_193946.jpg

Isn't it just a self-adhesive sticker? Peel it off, stick it on.

If it's not self-adhesive then treat it like PE and stick using the usual PE glues

Since this is a Tamiya kit, I would expect it to be explained how to use them in the instructions. Browse around the sheet to see if it has the info?

Which kit is it Paul? Just Goggling for Tamiya Nissan 350Z brings up several versions and scales.

I have some very similar looking ones on my Hasegawa Miura. Those are just self adhesive stickers, mainly to replicate chrome trims and badges.

If yours are the same then they just stick on as already said.

I used those recently on a Tamiya F50. Yes they are self adhesive, the instructions would have you cut the plastic around them (the plastic being on the outside face of the sticker), place them on the model then burnish them to release the "backing" (which is on the front). I had no succes with this so peeled and stuck, but used a craft knife as the minimal adhesive only gives you one chance before losing all adhesion.

I hope that makes sense. :)
