Hello my Friends.
Paula made these and she is going to wear them when she goes out tonight :tears-of-joy:.

She'll need to be careful then. The way that bog roll is disappearing from the supermarket shelves will make her a target for desperate housewives!

Now we know who's bulk buying and why I am resorting to cut up pages from the Daily Mail (other newspapers are available)

Funniest thing I’ve seen for ages.....mind you, going to a local small supermarket and finding all the beer gone except Corona beer made me laugh a lot as well......I also wonder about the mass buying of pasta, after all, plain boiled pasta is pretty tasteless, and after a while they would probably prefer to eat the bog roll, just to try something different!

Just been sent a good work around if you can’t get toilet tissue....phone yer gran!

Excellent. One clever lady you have there, Ralph.

Jim, not politics, just Tim hitting a bum note!

I've just showed the earrings to the wife - Highly amused. I suggested to her we will probably have go back to the days when our toilet was 'Down the garden', and an old
telephone directory was hanging on a piece of string therein. She promptly showed me our latest B.T. Phone Book......Hardly worth hanging it up!

Brilliant Ralph

Morrissons only had half a dozen packs of the stuff that’s like 80grit sandpaper so I didn‘t bother

I have some 1500grit wet and dry somewhere that I got for doing car bodywork - shall use that in an emergency as it will be kinder on my delicate derrière :smiling2:

You still have a phone book in the UK, then. Here in the Netherlands, last year saw the very last one of those, ever.

Aren’t most of you guys in the UK old enough to remember the toilet paper you used to have over there? Anything would seem rough if you’re used to that, I would think. On the plus side, all you older Brits can just buy up rolls intended for cash registers and use them like good old-fashioned toilet paper, I would think :tongue-out2:

Amazing what you can get up to when you are bored...
Had this song 'Ain't no sunshine anymore' going round my head all day, so put a few changes to it - you are free to sing along....

Ain't no coronavirus in my house
Not even a bug in the mouse
Ain't no coronavirus in my home
Jus’ appears to be leavin’ me alone
All we do is hope an’ pray

Toilet paper lasts all day
Wonder if it’s goin’ away
Ain't no coronavirus when it’s gone
And this house just ain't no home
Havin’ isolation on your own

And I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know,
Hey, I oughta leave the rubber doll alone
Just can’t handle isolation on my own

Ain't no coronavirus in my day
Only baked beans every day
Ain't no pasta on the shelves
And this house just ain't no home
Please make the runs go away
Please make my food delivery today
Can’t do click and collect this way
Please make this coronavirus go away

Mike.

Hi Mike
To be honest I doubt Lennon and McCartney have much to worry about but 10/10 for effort :thumb2: :smiling2:
